Direct Burial Ethernet Cable - What You Should Know

The direct burial cable can be classified from its LLDPE-rated jackets. The core of direct burial ethernet cables is gel-filled making the cable thoroughly waterproof. Likewise, the LLDPE jackets render excellent immunity and protection from bio-organisms. As these jackets have UV-resistant features, they can fully withstand direct sunlight exposure. The jacket is also durable and rugged for extreme weather conditions. We manufacture Cat5e and Cat6 direct burial ethernet cables. These aforesaid ethernet cables have pure copper conductors. The number of conductors in each cable is 8 and they are tightly twisted in 4 pairs to stop EMI and crosstalk from messing with your signals. As far as the data rates of Cat5e are concerned, it renders a speed of 1 Gbps up to a distance of 50 meters or 164 feet. The minimum data rates transferred by the Cat5e cable stands at 100 Mbps up to a distance of 100 meters of 328 feet. The Cat5e direct burial ethernet cables come with a bandwidth capacity of 350 MHz. The Cat6 direct burial cable supports maximum data transfer rates of 10 Gbps if the cable run is 50 meters or 164 feet. Likewise, it supports minimum data transfer rate of 1 Gbps if the cable run is up to 100 meters or 328 feet. It comes with a bandwidth capacity of 550 MHz. Both Cat5e and Cat6 direct burial cables are available in pure copper conductors that are the most superior types of conductors in the ethernet cables’ world. The Cat5e cable supports PoE+ and PoE applications up to 300V and 30W DC whereas the Cat6 cable supports PoE+, PoE, and PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) up to 300V and 60W DC. NewYork Cables manufacture direct burial cables that exceed all industry standards.  To get a special discount on bulk quantities, reach out to our sales team at [email protected].
